MISSION STATEMENT > "We exist to become effective in disciple making, growing spiritually, numerically and evangelistically, being relevant   in   teaching, constant in prayer, and joyful in our attitude."

  HISTORY > Approximately 10 years ago, the vision was born to plant a church in the Upper Movilla area of Newtownards. The establishment of   many churches originates with a small group of friends meeting together in a home and this fellowship progressed through the early years   with the generous hospitality and help of 3 couples who opened their homes for meetings.

  We then met for 5 years in a converted hayloft on a local farm. During this time we trebled our membership, established a church program,   saw people converted and baptised and raised finance to allow the purchase of land and commencement of our building programme.

  In January 1998, we moved into the first phase of our purpose built premises.

  We have now completed the second phase of our building which is needed to support our growing congregation and variety of  ministries.
